About our speaker:

Kate Varness, founder and president of Green Light Organizing, is a Certified Professional Organizer specializing in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD). She has also earned a Certified Organizer Coach (COC) through the Coach Approach for Organizers.  Kate has been a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) since 2004. She has earned the ADD Specialist, CD Specialist, and other certificates through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD).

Kate’s expertise in organizing homes has been featured in the Peoria Journal Star, Midwestern Family Magazine, and on local television. Kate is a popular speaker for women’s groups and uses her first-hand knowledge of motherhood to provide humorous and practical presentations.

Kate edited and contributed to The ICD Guide to Challenging Disorganization: For Professional Organizers, published in January, 2012. This book is required reading for ICD certification and the first book of its kind to examine how chronic disorganization and other conditions impact getting organized. She is a contributing author to the book Life Lessons for Busy Moms.
