Social Areas

All of Proctor Place is Your New Home

Our cozy and comfortable facilities are more than residential buildings. Social areas provide expanded space for you to call home.

Social Areas
Lounges

Spread throughout our residential buildings, lounges can be reserved by residents for functions and group gatherings. These rooms are often filled with birthday parties, Bible studies, church groups, card games, and book clubs. Lounges come in many sizes and shapes and some have kitchens.

The Library

Curl up with a great book, thanks to Proctor Place and the Peoria Public Library. A collection of books, magazines, and newspapers keep our bookworms busy. Can’t find the book you’re looking for? A quick request to the library will get it into your hands quickly.

The Library includes:

  • Rotation of new books every two weeks
  • Daily newspapers including the Journal Star and Wall Street Journal
  • Donated books and resident-authored works
  • Internet enabled computers

Hobby Rooms

There’s no need to leave your favorite hobby behind when you move to Proctor Place. Our hobby rooms have pool tables, a ping pong table, a workshop and putting greens, with plenty of space to enjoy the hobby of your choice. We even have a 9-hole miniature golf course!

Social Areas
Residential Rooms by Reservation

When family or friends come to town, there’s no need for them to worry about staying in a distant and expensive hotel. Our residents can reserve residential rooms for a low nightly cost and have family members nearby.
