J. Andrew P. Stone
Andrew grew up in Peoria and has served as a member of the John C. Proctor Endowment Board of Trustees since 2005. He's the son of Harry and Sally Stone.
Andrew is a partner in Kozusko Harris Duncan, a Chicago law firm. He earned a JD degree from Cornell Law School and a BA degree in History and International Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
As an attorney, Andrew works with individuals and families to assist with tax and estate planning, estate administration and wealth transfer planning.
Andrew is an active member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and serves as Chair of STEP’s Chicago Chapter. He is a member of the American Bar Association and is co-chair of the International Tax Planning Committee of the Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law. He also serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Chicago Community Trust. Andrew serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching International Estate Planning in Northwestern University School of Law’s Tax LL.M. program.
Andrew is married to Robin Stone and they have four children.
